Alex Rodriguez's dream girl was Jennifer Lopez, decades before they even started dating! The former MLB player took to Instagram to post an adorable video of him in 1998 saying that his "dream date" would be with none other than his current fianceé.
While Alex, 43, and Jennifer, 49, started dating in 2017, the athlete has apparently been crushing on the star since he was just 23-years-old!
On Tuesday, June 4, the former Yankees player posted an old interview where he was asked, “What would a dream date with Alex Rodriguez be?”
In the footage, the young Arod says with confidence, “Jennifer Lopez, hopefully you can find me a date with her."
"I just had a feeling ?," Alex captioned the video. "Always knew @Jlo."

Shortly after posting the sweet clip, the World of Dance judge said, "OMG…I love this too much ♥️♥️♥️." Alex then responded, "When you know, you know ♥️."
As OK! readers know, Alex proposed to Jennifer in March on the beach of an unknown tropical destination after dating for two years. The singer's engagement ring is reportedly worth $1.7 million dollars.
