Alex Rodriguez hilariously revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he rehearsed his marriage proposal to fiancée Jennifer Lopez with his personal assistant before the real deal! Scroll through for all the details.
As OK! readers know, Alex, 43, and Jennifer, 49, got engaged on March 9. Naturally, Jimmy, 44, wasn't going to sit down with the athlete without getting any of the details!
“I planned it for about six months and it was on a beach in the Bahamas,” the father-of-two said. "I had the ring, but what was interesting is the three days prior to me going down on one knee and getting engaged was I rehearsed three days in a row.”
“I wanted the sunset to be perfect,” ARod explained before the Fever Pitch actor asked him if he rehearsed by himself. “Well, I had my assistant actually with me,” he admitted with a laugh.

“One time the sunset was at 6:27 p.m., the next day 6:29 p.m. and then the third day it was raining," the retired Yankees player said. “So, I kind of came out at around 6:29 p.m. and it worked out well."
The singer's engagement ring is reportedly worth $1.7 million dollars.
