Alexis Skyy revealed on her Instagram story on January 27 that her daughter Alaiya, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Fetty Wap, underwent brain surgery. The 1-year-old suffers from a brain condition as a result of being severely premature.

Alexis asked her followers, “prayers please for my baby.” According to reports, Alaiya was rushed into emergency brain surgery to repair a malfunctioning implant in her brain that helps drain blood and fluids.”

She later updated her fans and said, “Surgery went well thank you God.”

As fans of the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star know, her baby was born with hydrocephalus, which causes the bleeding and fluid in her brain.

When Alaiya was born in January 2018, Alexis was candid about her rough delivery. She was forced to induce her labor at 23 weeks and she had an emergency C-section. Her severely premature baby was kept in the hospital for five months and underwent multiple brain surgeries during that time.

According to reports, Alexis brought her daughter to the hospital after she was excessively vomiting on a flight from Atlanta to New York.
