Alicia Silverstone and her ex Chris Jarecki finalized their divorce earlier this month, and it appears that their split is going to be pretty tough on the actress’ wallet. Read on for the latest.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the Clueless star has agreed pay Chris $12,000 a month in spousal support until 2024.
The papers did not include whether or not child support will also be paid, but the former couple will be sharing joint physical and legal custody of their son, Bear.
If Chris happens to find a new love and shares housing with his new partner for more than 5 months, then Alicia is entitled to a reduction of her monthly payments.

In addition to the monetary agreement, the pair will also be “restrained from making disparaging remarks about the other parent in the presence of the minor child.”
As OK! readers know, Alicia filed for divorce back in May of this year. At the time, a rep for the 42-year-old said in a statement to People, “The two of them still deeply love and respect each other and remain very close friends but have mutually decided to separate after being together for 20 years. They have a son together who they will continue to co-parent.”
