Amy Schumer is completely unbothered by the mommy shamers! The I Feel Pretty star was all smiles as she shared a breast pumping photo on May 21 and gave a shout out to the trolls who her criticized her for returning to work two weeks after giving birth. Scroll below for more details.
Amy, 37, proudly shared a photo after she performed at New York Comedy Cellar on May 20. She captioned the picture, “I’m back!”
The comedian was immediately met with backlash. One person commented, “Jesus, Amy. Let the stitches dissolve first. I’m still on the couch and my youngest is three.”
Another wrote, “Already???? That’s insane!!! And inhumane. Contract or not you need to be allowed at least 6 weeks for maternity.
Amy clapped back by posting a picture of herself the morning after she performed, pumping breast milk for her son Gene. She captioned the photo, “Sending out love to the moms shaming me for doing standup last night!”

The comedian also went toe-to-toe with some fans in the comments section. She joked, “I’ve always wanted to be mommy-shamed!!!!”
Selma Blair commented her support and wrote, “Who the fudge would shame a mom for doing what she does? And how the hell did you do it?”
Demi Lovato also said, “You’re a rockstar.”
