Amy Schumer returned to the comedy stage two weeks after welcoming her first child. She had to deal with mommy shamers who criticized the Trainwreck star for working so soon after giving birth. Read on to find out her clever clap back.

“I’m back” she captioned as the candid Instagram snap of her time on stage. Amy showed off her post-baby body in a long-sleeved V-neck mini-dress with her hair in a low ponytail.
Her return to the stage happened exactly two weeks after she and husband Chris Fischer welcomed their son Gene on Sunday, May 5.

Several followers criticized Amy for working so soon after giving birth. "I’m sorry. What?! Didn’t you birth a human like 5 minutes ago?" one comment read.
Amy turned the tables and found humor in the negative responses she received. “I’ve always wanted to be mommy shamed!” she joked in response to another follower bringing the topic up.
Amy has often shown off her funny side since becoming a mom. She shared a hilarious photo of her breastfeeding on Instagram Saturday, May 18, with the caption “Guys what are we doing tonight?”
