No hard feelings here! Amy Schumer's ex-boyfriend Ben Hanisch gave his take on the newest addition to her family. The funnywoman welcomed a son, Gene Attell, with husband Chris Fischer on Sunday, May 5.
Ben opened up to Life & Style about how he feels about his ex as a new mom.
“I’m really happy for them!” he said. “I think Amy will be a great mother, and although I don’t know Chris, I’m sure he’s a great guy. I wish them the best, nothing but love.”
The I Feel Pretty star dated Ben for a year until their split in May 2017. Her rep said at the time of the breakup, "Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends.”

Amy married Chris in February 2018 after they started dating in November 2018.
Just one day after their wedding, Ben showed off his new girlfriend, Janine Doherty, on Instagram. “I am one lucky guy,” he captioned in a now-deleted post.
