New Mom Amy Schumer Reveals Her Son's Name!

Three days after giving birth to her first child, Amy Schumer has finally announced the baby’s name. On Wednesday, May 8, the comedian revealed the name on Instagram under a touching father-son picture.
In the picture, Amy’s husband and new father Chris Fischer cuddled the baby close to his chest.
“Gene Attell Fischer and his dad Chris,” Amy, 37, wrote in the caption.
The baby’s middle name appears to have special significance for the Trainwreck star. Dave Attell is a fellow comedian and one of Amy’s close friends. She was recently invited to join him for his show at the comedy club Caroline’s in New York City earlier this year.

Baby Gene is the first child for both Amy and Chris, 39, and the proud mama announced his arrival in a post on Monday, May 6.
“10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born,” she wrote at the time, a tongue-in-cheek reference to her “nemesis” Meghan Markle. Meghan and Prince Harry welcomed their own son less than two hours later.
