Eight seasons in and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is still as dramatic as ever! Andy Cohen recently spoke about the show’s upcoming reunion, revealing how the mood this time around is different but still spellbinding.
The reunion happens to be three parts, which the Watch What Happens Live host says is worth it. "It's a different tenor,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “The tone is different, it's quieter, but they really got in there. They hash things out, and there's reconciliation.”
Is it though? “It’s like death by a thousand paper cuts,” joked Dorit Kemsley, who joined the show last season. She also shared that she will be the center of much discussion during most of the reunion.
The dynamic between Dorit and two of the original housewives will be one of those discussions. "You get to see more of the dynamic between Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards and Dorit,” teased Erika Jayne. "Their situation. Just everyone fitting into the group and how they all -- you know, everyone's very opinionated. Very open.” Dorit compared their experience together on season eight and at the reunion to “growing pains.”

It won’t be all about Dorit though, as Erika finds herself as a topic of conversation unexpectedly during the reunion. "Lisa Vanderpump got involved in a way that surprised me,” Andy said. “She kind of got her hands dirty and, you know, I saw her the next day and she said, ‘Were you surprised that I could fight like that?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ Like, she stood up to Erika Jayne in a way that was surprising.”
Season 8 newbie Teddi Mellencamp will be another hot topic at the upcoming reunion. "Teddi probably had it the worst, because she was the new person,” Erika said. On the flip side, she’s received a ton of support from other housewives including Camille Grammer. "She was new, she was fresh, she's young, she's gorgeous. She's swimming in a sea of sharks … but she really held her own, so I was very impressed with her.” So will the upcoming reunion be the one to truly remember?
