Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have shocked the world after the actress announced they were divorcing, and according to Angelina, it was for the “health of the family.” But with six children to think about, it looks like the kids are going to be the ones most negatively impacted by the breakup!

The power couple has six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight. But Angelina, when she filed for divorce, asked for physical custody, and only wants Brad to have visitation rights. This means of course that the kids will be seeing a lot less of their famous dad.

In a statement released by her lawyer, Angelina said, “This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time."

Brad was first spotted with Angelina's son Maddox in 2005, when the three took a trip to Kenya together. A year later, Angelina had her first biological child, Shiloh, with Brad. By 2008, the two welcomed twins Knox and Vivienne.

They told People magazine at the time about their huge family, "It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time. Brad added, "It's still a cuckoo's nest."
Now, one can imagine how the six kids will feel without their dad, as Angelina reportedly felt that Brad's way of raising the kids was inappropriate.
She allegedly believed he had an "anger problem" which of course would not be a great environment for the kids.
Since the divorce announcement was made, Brad defended his children though he didn't comment about the allegations. He told People, "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."
