Angelina Jolie Reveals Her Kids Are 'Happy' She's Starring In A Superhero Movie
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's...Angelina Jolie! The actress will make her Marvel debut in The Eternals next year and she admitted that her kids are super excited that she'll be playing a superhero.
It was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con earlier this month that the 44-year-old will be playing the warrior goddess Thena in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The mother of six spoke to People about how her kids are ready for her to take on the role.
“What’s really moving to me is that they want to see me strong, and so it’s less to see me in a film," the Changeling star said.

The Oscar winner continued, "But they’re just happy I will be strong and having fun.”
Angelina shares sons Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, and Knox, 11, and daughters Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and Vivienne, 11, with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
The action-adventure flick will also star Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry and Richard Madden as a group of ancient superheroes. The Eternals will be a part of Phase Four of the MCU. The film is set to hit theaters on November 6, 2020.
