Battle of the A-listers! Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga are getting into a heated battle over who will play the coveted role of Cleopatra in the upcoming eponymous film. The biopic has been in development hell for years and Angelina has been attached to star for quite some time. But it looks like another star might be added to the mix.
A source revealed to OK! Magazine that Gaga is vying for the role against Angie.
"Angie has wanted to work on the film for a very long time, but it looks like she’s going to have to go up against Lady Gaga for the lead,” the insider said.
The "Love Game" singer is a strong contender for the role. She's been riding hot off of her critically-acclaimed role in Bradley Cooper's A Star is Born.
