It’s been nearly two decades since Angelina Jolie suited up to play the titular role in the hit movie, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. But over the weekend, the now mom-of-six took her children to see the remake of the blockbuster—this time with star Alicia Vikander!
The Oscar winner was probably hit with a serious case of déjà vu as she and three of kids—Shiloh, Knox, and Zahara Jolie-Pitt—walked into a showing of the new Tomb Raider movie, 18 years after she made the role famous.
The film, which made more than $23 million at the box office in its opening weekend, now sees fellow Academy Award winner Alicia, 29, as the bicep-baring heroine taking down the bad guys.
If Angelina was feeling at all anxious about possibly being shown up by the new star, she didn’t let on. She and her family looked cool, calm and collected as they strolled up to a North Hollywood theater to check it out.
