Here's What Anna Wintour Actually Thought Of Meghan Markle's Wedding Dress

Anna Wintour made her feelings known about Meghan Markle's wedding gown in a new video series from Vogue magazine. The series is entitled Go Ask Anna and fans had the opportunity to ask the editor-in-chief random questions. One fan asked her what her thoughts were on the Duchess of Sussex's bridal style. Keep reading to hear what the fashion icon had to say.
“I think she’s amazing,” Anna said, adding that Meghan “looked fantastic” during her wedding to Prince Harry.
“The royal wedding had the whole world watching,” Anna added. “I think that her choice was brilliant. It was sophisticated, it was chic, it was grown up."
The 69-year-old noted that her dress was created by an English designer. "Albeit one that was working for a French house, which in a way was a message to world: ‘Yes, I’m from somewhere else, but I belong,’" she added.

The off-the-shoulder silk gown contained three quarter sleeves and sculpted waist. Her veil was embroidered with intricate flowers.
