Anne Hathaway is one of the top actresses in Hollywood and the pressure to keep being cast in leading movie roles is intense. So much so, that Anne has devised a bizarre new diet plan!
OK! exclusively learned from a friend of the super-thin leading lady that, “[Anne] is extremely strict about the timing of her meals and her rule right now [while she promotes new movie ‘The Intern’] is one big, well-rounded meal every 16 hours.”
The 32-year-old is so particular that, “She obeys this down to the minute and is extremely superstitious, in that she won’t hear of any other meal plan than this one.”
This kind of meal planning means that Anne has to endure long periods of hunger that make her cranky and tough to be around, said the source. This makes the Academy Award winner, who dropped serious weight for her role as Fantine, extremely paranoid about gaining weight on long plane rides.
The insider adds, “She’s always been militant about her diet and avoids fatty or high-calorie food like the plague. Anne’s biggest weight struggle was actually putting the weight back on after she did Les Miserables, partly because she got so used to being underweight and she was worried about overdoing it.”
