So how'd the conversation come up? The star was explaining how she was giving a speech to honor Matthew McConaughey at the American Cinematheque awards and that the telepromter ended up breaking at the very beginning of her speech, causing her to "wing it" and just tell an impromtu story instead.

When Jimmy asked her if it was embarrassing, she said, "The thing about me and embarrassment is, you have to remember, is that it all happens on a scale."

"So if you think about embarrassment, scale of 1 to 10, 1 is being a person walking down the street, 10 is cohosting the Oscars with James Franco. No one is forgetting that pink Prada dress, Anne. Sorry!

"I can’t forget about it. It haunts me still," she told Jimmy. Well, it's OK, Anne. You've had plenty of A+ fashion moments that have made up for the red carpet mishap.

So where does the Matthew situation rank in at?

"If that’s a ten, that was like a four," she said. We have a feeling Anne is pretty quick on her feet, so we're sure the speech was totally fine.
