Ansel Elgort and his long-time girlfriend, Violetta Komyshan were photographed on the red carpet at the American Ballet Theatre's 2018 Fall Gala on Wednesday evening, October 17. The Fault In Our Stars star met Violetta while attending NYC's famed Fiorello H. LaGuardio High School, a performing arts school where he majored in acting and she majored in dance. They became a couple in 2012 and reportedly broke up for five months in 2015, but have been going strong ever since.
As Ansel's leading lady is a professional ballet dancer, who is a part of the NYC-based dance company Ballet Next, it only made sense that the pair made an appearance at the event.
The actor looked dapper in a burgundy tuxedo that he paired with black dress shoes, a pale blue dress shirt, and a black bow tie.

The 24-year-old decided to change things up (a lot) and surprised his fans last month by bleaching his locks super blonde.
Violetta looked gorgeous as usual in a floor length embellished black dress. The 22-year-old accessorized with black platform pumps and a embellished clutch. She kept her hair down in loose waves and behind her ears for the event.

It was recently announced on October 1, that Steven Spielberg had casted Ansel as the male lead in his remake of West Side Story, according to Hollywood Reporter.
