Apollo Nida wasn’t using his best judgment when he was caught using a forbidden cell phone in the New Jersey prison he’s serving time at.
The 37-year-old was discovered back in February to be using a phone to make calls to friends and family.
The ex of Phaedra Parks is currently serving time at the Fort Dix Correctional Facility for fraud and theft charges.

A prison insider told RadarOnline.com, “The prison staff took Apollo’s violation very seriously … He was taken out of camp with the general population and placed in maximum security.”

Even though Pheadra visited Apollo earlier this year with their two sons, Dylan and Ayden, she is not a suspect in the cell phone heist.
Apollo’s attitude has not been well received at the prison. “Apollo is not well-liked among the other prisoners because he thinks he’s still a famous reality star,” the source revealed. “He wanted special treatment, and had a hard time adjusting to prison life.”
