When Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their separation in 2015, they broke the hearts of millions of their fans. Since then, they’ve finalized their divorce and have been co-parenting their three kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6. But, several sources for Us Weekly have claimed that the former couple may be on their way to back to a real reunion! Click through for more.
As it turned out, it was Jennifer who had tried to save their marriage multiple times even after they separated.
Us Weekly reported that Jen’s pal said, “She put her heart and soul into fixing the relationship and wanted so desperately to turn things around for the children’s sake as well as theirs. She forgave him for so much, and still he couldn’t change.”
After she tried and failed to rescue their relationship, Ben tried to go back to the way things was. “He’s begged her to come back several times, but she has no interest,” revealed an Us Weekly source.

Since then, the two have tried to move on with their lives. Ben has even found new love with SNL producer Lindsay Shookus. And a source claimed, “When Jen and Ben filed and decided they were moving on, that was it.”
Still, the two were really there for each other even after they split. Us Weekly’s source continued, “When Ben was in rehab, Jennifer was there every day, visiting. They did family counseling to work on their relationship.”
As a result, shared the source, it looked like they could reunite: “Things looked positive. Jennifer was very caring, very present. They both wanted it to work.”
