Ariana Grande has found herself in hot water after she supported her friend Doug Middlebrook making a Halloween costume inspired by JonBenet Ramsey. The child beauty queen was murdered at age 6.
Doug posted a photo on Instagram of a magazine cover with JonBenet. He captioned the image, “No one has done more covers.”
Ariana, 26, took to the comments section and wrote, “I can't WAIT for this to be your Halloween look.” Her friend Doug replied, "Working on it already."
Although the post was deleted, fans screenshotted the image and blasted the pop star for the insensitive comment.

“Wait WHAT?? An 6-year-old girl who was violently killed, strangled and suffocated cannot be anyone's costume,” one user wrote. The child beauty queen was found murdered in her home on December 26, 1996.
Ariana replied, “Yeah no I deleted it very quickly and understand that it’s not at all funny.”
“This was out of pocket and I sincerely apologize,” she added.
