Ariana Grande Confesses ‘Healing Is Hard Work’ Months After Ex Mac Miller’s Death

Ariana Grande is still trying to heal six months after the untimely death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. On Thursday, April 4, she shared a few words of wisdom on her Instagram stories about healing and moving on through tough times.
The 25-year-old wrote, "Healing is hard work. Accept da ups and downs. Be gentle with yourself and surround yourself with gentle energy. You’re not alone.”
In another story, the "Thank U, Next" singer wrote a message to fans about sticking by her. "U make everything better. Thank you for your energy. Truly,” she said.
“I love y’all, so much. U have no idea how much y’all help me / how happy u make me. sharing a state / this life with y’all is so beautiful. thank u so much for being here. and for reminding me why I am too,” Ariana continued.

On September 7, 2018, Mac was found dead in the San Fernando Valley at the age of 26. He died of an accidental drug overdose and was found with a mix of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol in his body.
Ariana recently posted a tribute her late ex on Instagram on March 26. She commemorated the six-year anniversary of their song, “The Way.”
