Ariana Grande and Seth MacFarlane appeared on Apple Music’s Carpool Karaoke together, and while the two make little sense as a duet, they kinda killed it.

The two sang Broadway hit “Suddenly Seymour” from the musical Little Shop of Horrors.

While Seth struggled a bit, Ariana used her powerhouse voice to help carry the song.

“We almost died, but the belting was more important,” the pop star said after the near-accident. “I like that we didn’t skip a beat. That is what comes from being a theater person. You stay in it.”
