Another one bites the dust! Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell are over!
Despite reassuring fans that he and Lauren were still together (after she was spotted on vacation without her engagement ring) in a rumor slamming Instagram post on Feb. 1, Life & Style reports that The Bachelor couple has indeed ended their year-long relationship.
“Ben and Lauren’s relationship has been crumbling since before the holiday season, and now they have officially called it quits,” a source told the mag. “It’s only a matter of time before they announce it.”
RadarOnline.com also reported that when asked about the breakup rumors, Ben didn’t deny them, telling the site, “I’m sorry I can’t comment on that.”

And when it comes to what may have led to their split, a source told L&S, “They couldn’t agree on many life decisions. Ben was constantly trying to make Lauren live in Colorado, and Lauren couldn’t stand it. She missed LA and wanted to move back, but knew that wasn’t an option.”
Ben and Lauren’s alleged split comes just weeks after it was announced that their show, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After, would not be coming back with them at the head. Instead, the network reworked the Happily Ever After franchise with Bachelor twins, Emily and Haley Ferguson as the stars.
The show’s somewhat “cancellation” was no doubt induced by the couple’s engagement struggles, which were captured on the ABC Family show. HEA cameras were even rolling when Ben decided to indefinitely postpone their engagement.
