June 20 2018, Updated 6:44 p.m. ET
Bachelor in Paradise's official Twitter account revealed a promo shot and date for its upcoming 5th season on Wednesday. Can the show recover, however, after an alleged sexual misconduct situation almost caused its 4th season to be suspended indefinitely?
The official BIP Twitter account revealed that the 5th season will premiere Tuesday, August 7th on ABC. The tweet included a promo pic of Chris Harrison, who is back as host again.
It will happen a day after The Bachelorette finale, where Becca Kufrin will choose the man that she is now engaged to.
Show producer Mike Fleiss also posted a promo shot from BIP, which features former Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams. He competed on the show's third season.
Warner Bros. suspended production on the 4th season of BIP on June 11, 2017 after an alleged sexual misconduct situation between contestants Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.

Nine days later, on Jone 20, 2017, it was announced that Warner Bros. had cleared the show and its producers of any misconduct as they found no evidence of misconduct.
Although DeMario was vindicated, it was hard for him to recover as he admitted that suicide crossed his mind after the scandal erupted.
On a positive note, the two eventually made peace with one another after the whole ordeal. What sorts of scandals will emerge this time around when the 5th season of Bachelor in Paradise premieres August 7th?
