Bachelor alum Vanessa Grimaldi appeared on Stephanie Pratt’s podcast and revealed she almost became a castmate on The Hills: New Beginnings! Stephanie and her co-host Wells Adams were absent for the show, but they let Bachelorette alum Dean Unglert take over the interview on April 2.
Vanessa, 31, revealed, “I get a message from someone saying, ‘Hey’ and to give them a call for a new — well, I don’t even think they used the word ‘new’ — but for a reality TV show that they would be interested in me being a part of the cast.”
She continued to tell Dean, 26, “My curiosity piqued. I was ready to try something else other than a dating show.”
Vanessa revealed there was a catch if she would be brought onto the show. The Bachelor alum said, “They were like, ‘You’d be the single girl coming on the show’ and I was like, ‘I don’t want to be the single girl coming on the show and starting s**t between people and ruining relationships. That’s not what I want to do!” As Bachelor fans now know, Vanessa went public with Canadian businessmen Josh Wolfe in January.

“They said that they are looking for some new faces to be The Hills and asked if I was still living in L.A. and if I was single and what my work was like,” she continued. Vanessa had moved back to Canada at this point but was still open to the idea she admitted.
Things didn’t work out for Vanessa, but Stephanie, 32, revealed on March 25 that Wells, 34, set her up with Bachelorette alum Derek Peth so there’s still hope for a crossover!
