Hannah Brown's first impression rose recipient Cam Ayala was jailed for “possession of marijuana” in college! The Bachelorette expressed her interest in him on the March 12 finale of The Bachelor, but it looks like he’ll have some explaining to do on her season.
According to documents obtained by OK! Magazine, Cam, now 30, was arrested on October 2, 2009, for “Possession of marijuana” and “Manufacture or delivery of controlled substance in a drug free zone.” He was released on a $2,000 bond and a $7,000 bond for the respective charges.
Cam and his friends were caught smoking weed on the campus of Texas A&M University. His college buddies were also found with steroids, hashish, and Ecstasy tablets but the future Bachelorette contestant was not charged for the steroids or Ecstasy.
In the police report, Cam’s alias is reported as “Poppa Smurf.”

The former Miss Alabama told four of the other men she met at the finale, “To those of you who don’t get this rose, I can’t wait to see you all back at the mansion and try harder. In all seriousness, y’all are great.”
