'Bachelorette' Frontrunner Jordan Rodgers 'Desperate To Be Famous' — Will He Break JoJo Fletcher’s Heart?

It's no secret that Jordan Rodgers is the obvious frontrunner on Jojo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette. But is the former NFL player there for the right reasons?

An insider told US Weekly, “Jordan only went on the show to get exposure” and to reach his aspiring goal of becoming a sports broadcaster.

“Jordan did the show for the wrong reasons,” a friend of Rodgers told the publication. “He is all about himself.”

The brother of Green Bay packers Aaron Rodgers, always dreamed of a high-profile life. “He knew football wasn’t going to workout,” the source explained, “and he wants to be famous desperately.”

When ABC producers first casted Jordan, the Bachelorette was Cailia Quinn, who Rodgers had no interest in. “Jordan wasn’t stoked when it was Caila. He had no desire to date her.” It only fueled his drive to use the show as a stepping stone for his career.

But when they made a last minute switch, Jordan was excited it was JoJo.

“In the beginning yes, Jordan went on the show for his career,” his friend said. "But then it 100 percent switched. He was really into JoJo. He definitely fell in love with her.”
