PHOTOS‘Bachelor’ Nation Couple Kaitlyn Bristowe & Jason Tartick Say They Will Be Engaged ‘Within A Year’

While it's only been seven months since Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth announced the end of their engagement, it seems like the former Bachelorette is already ready for a new a ring! In a recent interview Kaitlyn and her new man, Jason Tartick, got candid about their relationship. They even hinted at possibly getting engaged "within a year."
Since they started dating in January, Kaitlyn, 34, and Jason, 30, have moved in and adopted a dog together. They told E! that the most logical "next step" would be to get engaged.
"I think I can speak for Kaitlyn," Jason, who was a contestant of Becca Kufrin's Bachelorette season in 2018, told the publication. "I think Kaitlyn has an expectation within a year."
"I don't have an expectation," Kaitlyn added. "I don't expect anything. I just think on the path that we're on, it would make sense that this is the next step."

"And moving in, we have the confidence in our relationship," she continued. "We just rescued a dog together so that just feels like the next step in our relationship."
"I've had baby fever for like the last 10 years of my life so this is definitely cooling that fever down a little bit," Kaitlyn admitted when talking about the couple's new dog. "It's just that we have so much going on that babies and a family is obviously part of the conversation, but we're like when would we even have time to do this? I mean he's got to put a ring on it first too."
"We're on the same page. We know what we want out of this relationship," Jason said.
