Hannah, 24, told all the contestants, “I’m just really thankful that you all decided to say ‘yes’ to taking this chance with me. I’m not perfect. I’m going to stumble over my words. I’m going to make mistakes and you are too.”
She added, “I don’t want perfect. I want real. I’m going to be real with you and I want you to be real in return.”
Self-proclaimed Hannah “Beast” then warned them, “And if you’re not and that’s not what you want, I’m not the girl for you.”
The former Miss Alabama also opened up about her insecurities at being named The Bachelorette and said prior to meeting all the men “it’s been hard to feel like I deserve all of this and all of you guys.” Hannah initially competed for love on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor and was sent home after she met his parents.
Hannah assured the men, “I can say that I can see my husband in this room.” She then raised her champagne glass to “the beginning of an amazing, imperfect, adventure to find true love.”
