Barbra Streisand Donates $5 Million to Hospital

Barbra Streisand donated $5 million to the women's heart disease research and education program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The hospital announced that the program will now be named the Barbra Streisand Women's Cardiovascular Research Education Program in honor of the donation.
The program will conduct trials on new drugs for women to try and identify the role of gender in heart diesease, and work to reduce risks of the disease.

Streisand has long been an advocate of women's health, and encourages women to get involved in reducing risks for heart disease.
