While the pair has been dating since April, The Weeknd didn’t really open up about the relationship until October, when he told RollingStone how they met.
"I actually asked her to be on the artwork for Beauty Behind the Madness. My motive was literally to work with her."
And while she initially turned the request down, The Weeknd was persistent, and they eventually met. After that, the singer was intrigued by her family life and work ethic and says the relationship “just kind of fell into my lap.” Well, we certainly approve!
