Bella Hadid and The Weeknd have called it quits just one year after reconciling, E! News reported on Tuesday, August 6.

Bella, 22, and The Weeknd, 29, couldn't make their relationship work due to distance.
"They are in different places right now, physically and mentally. Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut," a source told the outlet. The Weeknd's real name is Abel Tesfaye.
The pair were always in cities at "opposite times" due to their careers and it caused friction in their romance.

The source continued, "They have been arguing a lot recently. They haven't spent quality time together in months."
The supermodel and the singer were first linked at Coachella in 2015. They broke up for the first time in December 2015, but they have been off and on throughout the years.
"They hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects," the insider revealed.
