Bella Thorne leaked her own nude photos after she was threatened by a hacker. Whoopi Goldberg slammed the Famously In Love star on The View on June 17 and Bella took to Instagram shortly after to call out the talk show cohost.
Whoopi, 63, told The View audience, “If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are. You don’t take nude pictures of yourself.”
She continued, “Once you take that picture it goes into the cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don’t know that in 2019 that this is an issue, I’m sorry. You don’t get to do that.”
Bella, 21, shared the nude photos on Twitter on June 16 in an attempt to take the power away from the hacker. “For the last 24 hours I have been threatened with my own nudes and I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something from that I only wanted one special person to see,” she wrote at the time.
“Dear Whoopi, I have loved you for so long but honestly, I’m so displeased and saddened by your response to my leak. Blaming girls for taking the photo in the first place? Is sick and honestly disgusting,” The Disney alum wrote on Instagram.

Bella added, “So what a girl can’t send her boyfriend that she misses photos of her that are sexy? Things he’s already seen? I as a woman should be so scared walking around my home, being on my phone, doing anything?”
The actress later posted a video to her Instagram story breaking down in tears. “I’m not going to lie, I want to say I feel pretty disgusting, you know, I feel pretty disgusting. Whoopi, now that everyone’s seen my s**t. I just want to say that me watching this interview made me feel really bad about myself. I hope you’re happy, I really do. I really hope you’re so f**king happy because I can only imagine all the kids who have their s**t released and commit suicide. You’re so crazy for thinking such terrible things on such an awful situation,” she said.
The Midnight Sun actress also revealed she was supposed to go on the show as a part of her press tour for her new book. However, she stated, “I don’t really want to go on The View anymore because I don’t feel like being beaten down by a bunch of older women about my body and my sexuality.”
Bella continued to slam The View cohost and said, “Shame on you Whoopi. Shame on you for putting that public opinion out there like that for every young girl to think that they’re disgusting for even taking a photo like that. Shame on you.”
