Ben Affleck has been at the center of some serious internet mocking due to a photo of him that showed off his massively colorful back tattoo. He decided to take his mind off of the trolls by spending some time with his girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, with whom walked hand in hand on a tropical island. Click through for all the details.

He was spotted on a beach in Honolulu last weekend, where the Good Will Hunting actor sported a massive back tattoo filled with colorful ink that covered most of his back. He once claimed the tattoo was fake and its only purpose was for a movie he was making.
After those photos were released, the internet had no problem trolling him all over the place, with one user writing, "Next time you're feeling sad, remember that you're not Ben Affleck, so you (probably) don't have a tattoo so big and so ugly and so universally ridiculed that you had to lie and say it was only temporary and just for a movie when it is so clearly not.”

His longtime friend Matt Damon stood up for Ben regarding his back tattoo, telling late-night host Trevor Noah, “It’s not one man’s job to tell another man what he can do to his back.” Way to go, Matt!
All that shade didn’t stop him from enjoying his time in Hawaii with Lindsay, as the two were spotted hand-in-hand leaving a popular restaurant that was clearly so good that Ben left with a big doggy bag.
Looks like they are both taking this situation in stride, as the two of them were spotted getting a good giggle in while staring at their phones. Perhaps they were simply laughing about the entire situation?
