Ben Affleck is in the holiday spirit! Sources close to the actor told People magazine that he spent the weekend with his kids Violet, 13, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 7, and his mom Christine getting ready to celebrate Christmas.
Ben was seen with his mom and kids hunting for Christmas trees in Pacific Palisades. A source told People they also took a trip to Susie Cakes bakery for some sweets.
Another source told the magazine that Ben and ex-wife Jennifer Garner “have spent the holiday season together as a family and have really enjoyed it.” Speaking of the actress, she was spotted out this weekend doing her own Christmas shopping.
The exes spent Thanksgiving together with the kids in Montana. “They always celebrate big holidays together as a family,” one of the sources revealed.

“They make a really solid unit, married or not," the insider continued.
Of course that was proven true when Jen supported Ben during his latest rehab stint. She made sure he got the help he needed. They've been seen together with their kids on several occasions since their divorce was finalized in October.
