BFFs Ben Affleck & Matt Damon Join Forces 22 Years After 'Good Will Hunting'

Almost 22 years after Good Will Hunting hit theaters, longtime friends and costars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are ready to make magic on the big screen again! The A-Listers are reportedly working on a script for an upcoming movie with famous director Nicole Holofcener.
According to the Deadline, Ben, 46, and Matt, 38, who were childhood friends in Boston well before they became famed actors, will star in Ridley Scott's 14-century drama, The Last Duel.
Additionally, the actors are also cowriting the script with Nicole, 59, who helped write the 2019 Oscar-nominated film, Can You Ever Forgive Me?
The Last Duel is a revenge story based on a Eric Jager novel. While knight Jean de Carrouges (Ben) and the squire Jacques Le Gris (Matt) were once best friends, things take a turn for the worst when Jean accused Jacques of raping his wife.

Although The Last Duel sounds very different from Good Will Hunting, Matt and Ben have proven to make extraordinary films together.
As fans know, the A-listers cowrote and starred in Good Will Hunting which was released in December 1997. The movie went on to win two Oscars: Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for Robin Williams.
The famous flick also featured Stellan Skarsgård, Minnie Driver, Cole Hauser and Ben's younger brother Casey Affleck.
