Ben Affleck is walking a very straight line! Last Tuesday, the Oscar winner announced he’d completed a secret stint in rehab for alcohol abuse. And amid reports that he and his wife Jennifer Garner have put their divorce on hold, Ben is doing all he can to make a good impression! On Sunday he was spotted attending church with two of his kids, Samuel and Violet, looking solemn and reserved as he steadily works to get his life back on track.
In his rehab announcement, which the actor posted on his Facebook page, Ben credited his children as the reason he wanted to get sober again. “I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be,” he said in the shocking post.
“I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step,” he continued.

Ben also thanked Jen for sticking by his side as he got help, saying she “supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery.”
As Ben continues to work on his health, it seems like Jen is sticking by him. The Miracles from Heaven star joined Ben as he drove their son Samuel to school on Wednesday morning.
