Ben Affleck is trying to move on after getting caught up in Harvey Weinstein’s sexual assault scandal. The actor basically put his foot in his mouth after speaking out against the film producer’s actions. Shortly after doing so, former One Tree Hill star and MTV correspondent Hilarie Burton recalled an incident on TRL in 2001 when he groped her during an appearance. He then tweeted,, “I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize.” Now, he is trying to focus on his family and hopefully staying low-key for a while.
Ben was seen picking his children up after school in Brentwood. He dressed casually in all black, and kept his head down for the most part.
The kids, Samuel and Seraphina, seemed oblivious about their father’s latest mishap, which is for the best.
Despite the drama, Jennifer Garner has stuck by him, as they reunited after the “groping scandal” to head to church as a family.

But she’s not pleased. A source told E! she “is very annoyed' with Ben 'because it just means more attention on her and the kids.”
“She tries to shield them from any and all publicity and scrutiny. As far as they know nothing has changed and all is well. That is always her goal but she's been pretty frustrated with him.”
