Despite her blasting him in her revealing tell-all interview with Vanity Fair, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner appear to still be devoted to remaining cordial as they co-parent their three children — Violet, Seraphina and Samuel!
According to a source speaking to Us Weekly, Affleck and Garner reunited at her home in Los Angeles, California, for their son Samuel's super-hero themed birthday party on Saturday!
The insider added that there were "lots of moms, dads and siblings" present at the event, including actress Reese Witherspoon's son Tennessee and Kate Hudson's children.
Just one day before the birthday party, Affleck was spotted looking a bit down while attending a pre-Oscars party in Beverly Hills.

The event came just hours after the release of Garner's interview, where she confirmed that Affleck had indeed had a relationship with the couple's former nanny Christine Ouzounian.
However, Garner did clarity that the two were separated by the time she learned that Affleck and the nanny had been together. “Let me just tell you something. We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation," Garner said. "Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for a nanny to disappear from their lives. I have had to have conversations about the meaning of ‘scandal.'"
Garner added that she still loves Affleck and that she's mainly focused on doing what's best for the couple's kids. “It’s not Ben’s job to make me happy,” she said. “The main thing is these kids — and we’re completely in line with what we hope for them. Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter’s wedding. But you should see their faces when he walks through the door.
