Ben and Lauren celebrated their one-year anniversary on Friday, just days after announcing that they had called off their wedding.

While many fans thought the two were heading towards Splitsville, Ben’s recent twitter post, which celebrated the couple’s one-year anniversary, said otherwise.
“One year ago today I started my life with @LaurenBushnell3 and we are better today than ever before,” he wrote.
The young couple got engaged on ABC’s hit show one year ago, after Ben chose front-runner Lauren over JoJo Fletcher.
