The designer’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection was inspired by all things light. That effortless feeling was paired with a loose braid with plenty of texture and ease in its construction.

Style Tip: This isn’t a single braid—CATWALK by TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin actually separated the hair into three sections, braiding the back section, loosening the braid, and individually wrapping the last two section of hair around the deconstructed braid.

Rebecca Minkoff

You won’t be over nail art when you see the watercolor look essie professionals created for Rebecca Minkoff's new collection. The look was created by painting half the day in ‘bikini so teeny’ and the other half with ‘turquoise & caicos’ with a thin line of ‘lollipop’ red polish separating them.

Style Tip: Make sure to paint each nail with ‘good to go top coat’ right after applying the red horizontal line. This coat of lacquer is the step that makes the nail actually look like a watercolor painting.

Christian Siriano

With a collection inspired by glass sculptures, Christian Siriano’s collection naturally was complemented with iridescent glitter around the eyes that reflected the blue hues of the clothing. MAC Cosmetics professionals glued chunks of the glitter to their #30 false lashes and mixed up a blue mascara formula with Prep + Prime Lash and Marine Ultra and High Def-Cyan pigment. Glitter was later glued directly on the eyelid to give the look a bit more drama.

Style Tip: The glitter was glued onto the falsies before they were applied to minimize any messy makeup situations.

The designer with a knack for putting together soft, delicate, and beautifully expressive ensembles went for a simple white nail by the gurus over at KISS with a linear gold accent that mimicked the colors in her collection.

Style Secret: The models on the runway actually wore fake nails! These press-on nail covers were painted with two coats of white KISS Nail Artist Paint and the gold line was cut to fit with the brand’s gold foil tape.

It was all about a mix of 60s mod elements and bohemian vibes over at Rachel Zoe’s Spring/Summer 2014 presentation. L’Oreal Professonal Artist Pepper Pastor created an intricate, playful ponytail that encompassed both genres of style.

Style Tip: Pepper Pastor braided two small sections of hair one inch away from the hairline on either side and then incorporated them into a ponytail with the back sections of hair. The leftover strands in the front were then wrapped over the braids and added into the pony.

You can’t look at this designer’s Spring/Summer collection without feeling a little bit like a rock star. These sultry smoky eyes and perfectly contoured cheeks give spring fashion the extra edge it needs.

Style Tip: Not one, but two shadow hues made this look pop. The backstage MAC Cosmetics team coated the lid to the crease with Deep Deep Brown Fluidline and layered Medoc Eye Gloss on top for an almost-wet, glossy feel.

When Marie Antoinette takes over the East Village, tousled waves highlighted with pastel hues ensue. They’re clip-ins!

What do you pair with pastel eyebrows? Gold speckled nails by the manicure genius that is Deborah Lippmann, no doubt. Femme colors with metallic accents couldn’t be more appropriate for spring.

Style Tip: After applying the base coat (a necessity), Deborah Lippmann suggest two minutes of drying time before the two coats of color.
