Bethenny Frankel Breaks Down On Instagram As Dog Has Seizure
It’s been a tough year for Bethenny Frankel, and unfortunately, things just got a little tougher. The Real Housewives Of New York star took to Instagram early Sunday morning to ask for her fans' help as her beloved dog, Cookie, had a seizure.
Bethenny first posted a video to her Instagram Story of her dog convulsing, as she asked through tears “What do I do? I don’t know where to go…someone help me.” In a follow-up video, the Skinnygirl founder then explained to her followers what was going on. “My poor daughter Bryn, 7 and I have been watching my dog have a seizure for 45 minutes and the hospital is so far I don’t think she’s going to make it,” she explained.
Bethenny then shared a video of the dog, seemingly at the vet, an hour later with the caption, “Say your goodbye to this legendary Gray Lady.” While Bethenny didn’t give an update on her pup immediately she did explain why she shared her family emergency on Instagram.
“Social media may be the devil but for me it’s an angel because I didn’t know,” she said. “My dog was convulsing, I didn’t know what to do. Do I leave her here, do I put a stick in her mouth, do I take her to a vet? My daughter was watching, we had to do something, so we did.” She later added, “Anyone wondering why I’m doing this on social media can get the f**k off because all my friends are asleep and I’m freaking out.”

Bethenny also updated fans on what the doctors told her about Cookie’s health. “They’re saying she’s not regaining consciousness,” she tearfully explained. “We all know what’s going to happen, obviously? ... But why is this happening? I don’t think I can take this.”
Hours later, the reality star returned to Instagram with videos showing Bryn’s goodbye card to their family dog.
As fans of Bethenny know, Cookie has been a part of the reality star’s life for years. In addition to having her own Instagram the pup has made plenty of cameos on RHONY and is plastered all over Bethany’s social media accounts.
