The drama has been never-ending between Bethenny and her ex Jason Hoppy. Just when their four-year divorce was finalized, the reality TV star reopened the case to sue the 47-year-old businessman for sole custody of their daughter.
She might have made a little headway in this latest chapter in the drama, but now her mom Bernadette Birk has thrown a wrench the whole thing, revealing exclusively to Life & Style that she might actually help Jason in his custody action!
“I am going to reach out to Jason,” she told the magazine. “I want to see what has really gone on with the accusations Bethenny has made against him. If I believe him, I will offer to help him in his custody action.”

Some of those accusations include stalking and harassing the Skinnygirl mogul, which resulted in his arrest in January this year.
And in October, a judge awarded Bethenny, also 47, a 6-month stay-away order, mandating that Jason not contact her or arrive at Bryn’s school when she’s there.
But despite all that, Bernadette still wants to hear out Jason. “I feel very sorry for Jason,” she said. “He seems like a good man.”
