Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel shocked fans when she announced she was leaving the show ahead of season 12 on August 21, but it sounds like she's not ruling out the possibility of a return in the future. Andy Cohen recently admitted on his SiriusXM radio show that he hoped the SkinnyGirl mogul would come back to the Bravo hit in some capacity.
Bethenny, 48, played coy about a potential return at the 71st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 22. "You know, I love Andy. I love Bravo. They took out an ad yesterday to congratulate me on everything B Strong is doing, so it’s great to have good relationships and I will always be a member of the Bravo family … I have had such a great experience, Bravo has been such an amazing partner, and I’m always rooting for the women, and what a great journey I’ve had. So, this is the next chapter. The Emmys is a wonderful place to start the next chapter!” she told Entertainment Tonight.
Andy, 51, remained hopeful while discussing Bethenny's exit on his SiriusXM radio show on September 4. "It was just so fun to have her back and she brought so much to the show that — I just am living in the gratitude of her second return, and I will hopefully live in the gratitude of her third return. Because we are much like the mob, you can’t get out. And I, I do hope and think that she will come back sometime,” he said.
He continued, “She’s so still a part of everything that’s going on, that you almost could see her dropping in and it’s like, ‘Oh my god! OK. Here’s Bethenny, Bethenny’s at a party! Bethenny’s on this trip.’ You know, you never know. You never know. So, I look forward to her in any capacity on the show, and I’m just grateful that she was back at all. We all should be.”

Bethenny's departure didn't come totally out of the blue, given how much she has on her plate. She's busy running her SkinnyGirl empire and her disaster relief charity, and she's also got a new production deal in place with Mark Burnett.
Her love life is also blooming. She recently celebrated her one year anniversary with boyfriend Paul Bernon, who largely stayed off camera during the times she was filming.
Luann de Lesseps confirmed a new cast member had been added to the show on August 19, and she was revealed to be fashion designer and single mom Leah McSweeney, 36.
