On part two of The Real Housewives of New York City reunion last night, Bethenny Frankel finally got candid about her tumultuous relationship with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy. Over the past several months, multiple stalking and harassment charges have been brought against Jason, who was arrested in January for allegedly threatening Bethenny at their daughter Bryn’s school. Although their divorce has been finalized for a year now, Bethenny made it clear she’s still fighting to be free of Jason and won’t be able to live a “normal, free life” until she’s granted “zero contact” with him by the courts.
When host Andy Cohen asked Bethenny how she was going to find a solution to her ex’s “stalking situation,” she replied, “Any resolution is legally mandated and I’m fine with that.”
“I don’t care what happens, I have faith that somehow I will be able to live a normal free life. But it has to be with zero contact. Because with any contact, this will not end,” she continued.
In January, Jason was charged with one count of harassment in the second degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and one count of stalking in the fourth degree. A restraining order was also issued against him.

Then in June, two more charges were brought against Jason: one count of stalking in the third degree and one count of stalking in the fourth degree.
Andy asked if something happened in their marriage to make Jason so angry at Bethenny, to which her BFF Carole Radziwell replied, “He’s obsessed with her,” adding that he is angry because he “no longer has control.”
“You can’t even imagine the torment that this has been,” Bethenny explained. “There’s no way to describe it. I just stifled it in because if I let any of it out, I’m going to totally break down...it is torture.”
