Bethenny Frankel Sues Ex-Husband Jason Poppy For Custody Of Daughter

Bethenny Frankel is taking her ex-husband Jason Poppy back to court! After the couple finally finalized their divorce in 2016, nearly four years after they called it quits, the Real Housewives of New York City star is reopening the case. She’s suing Jason for custody of their seven-year-old daughter Bryn, almost a year after Jason was arrested for showing up at her school and allegedly threatening Bethenny. Bethenny took the first formal steps towards suing Jason on Dec. 6, court documents obtained by Page Six revealed.
Bethenny and Jason began their divorce proceedings for the first time back in 2013, but the couple didn’t finalize the details of the split until July 2016.
Currently, Jason and Bethenny share custody of Bryn. For Bethenny to reopen the volatile case, the Bravo star must be determined to have her daughter under her sole custody.

The couple is due back in court in January 2018, exactly a year after Jason was arrested for showing up at Bryn’s school.
According to an NYPD spokesman, Jason threatened Bethenny at the school. “I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned,” he allegedly said.
