More money, more problems! That’s the lesson Jay Z and Beyoncé have learned after doing business deals with the wrong people. The famous couple rented a yacht from Nigerian energy mogul Kola Aluko in 2015. The luxurious vessel, named the Galactica Star, reportedly cost the powerhouse pair a hefty $900,000 a week. And now its owner, Kola, is being hunted down by a Nigerian court for allegedly money laundering in both Nigeria and Europe, RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed!
According to RadarOnline.com, Beyoncé and Jay Z rented the yacht from Kola in September 2015, when they sailed around the Mediterranean Sea with their daughter Blue Ivy. The family stopped at Cannes, Sardinia, and Capri along the way.
Little did they know, however, that the yacht’s owner was allegedly involved in shady business dealings. The $72 million yacht is the definition of luxury with its helicopter deck, six bedrooms, outdoor Jacuzzi, and 65-foot sundeck — certainly a ship fit for Queen Bey.

Kola is also the owner of a $51 million New York City penthouse at One57, for which he is reportedly $25,000 past due on the property tax bill, the New York Post reported.
As a Nigerian court tries to hunt down Kola to freeze his assets, the businessman remains on the run. His yacht was last spotted in Cancun last year, and is rumored to currently be in Turkey.
