You gotta love girl bands and their willingness to wear some variation of the same outfit—and then pose together! Back in 2000, the ladies of Destiny's Child worked the MTV VMAs red carpet in sparkly leather ensembles, each taking their own spin on the oh-so millennial silhouette. Beyonce, in all her bravery, went for an evening gown with a bustier bodice.
In 2001, Destiny's Child snagged a VMA for their song "Survivor." They took home their award in orange outfits decorated with lots and lots of fringe and turquoise accents.

Jump to two years later, Queen Bey was looking like, well, royalty in her sparkly gold number and chandelier earrings. She not only rocked a deep V but also a high-slit. Talk about Sasha Fierce...
Later that same evening, Bey changed into this metallic crop top and pants combo for her performance with now-hubby Jay Z. If you recall, Beyonce was wearing sparkly hot shorts under those capris.
This sartorial moment will go down in MTV VMAs history. Just take it in.
