Blake Lively Unfollows Ryan Reynolds On Instagram

Blake Lively shocked her 20 million Instagram followers on Monday night when she unfollowed her husband Ryan Reynolds and made her profile completely blank. What’s going on with these two?
Blake’s Instagram profile went completely blank after she shared a series of photos of her playing the game Hangman. After several attempts she was able to solve the puzzle with the question “What Happened to Emily?"
After she solved the puzzle, her page went blank. What remained was her name, the question “What Happened to Emily?”, her follower count and who she was following. Who was missing? Her husband Ryan no longer appeared on who she was following.
Here’s what is known now. Emily happens to be the name of her character in the upcoming film A Simple Favor, which co-stars Anna Kendrick. The film’s release date is listed as September 14th of this year. The 28 users she is following right now are all all variations of the name Emily Nelson.

The synopsis of the film reads as follows: "Stephanie (Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily’s sudden disappearance from their small town.” So does this social media plot twist have anything to do with her upcoming film?
Ryan, on the other hand, has his social media in tact as nothing has been removed from his Instagram as of Tuesday morning. So is this all a stunt that Blake is doing for her upcoming movie, or something completely different?
