It looks like the rumors that have persisted over the years about Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are true. The couple has split and released a statement about their upcoming divorce.

"This is not the future we envisioned," the former couple said in the statement.

The divorce is expected to be finalized on Monday. This may come as a shock to fans of the country stars, as they really were viewed as the power couple in their field. The two wed in Texas in 2011 in front of 550 of their closest friends.

Meanwhile, when it comes to splitting assets, Blake and Miranda should not have much difficulty, as they had a prenup in place.
